Full-bodied, showing fleshy currant, black cherry and blackberry fruit, with hints of spice, nutmeg and black licorice. Fleshes out to reveal a long, lingering finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2016.

This is a Bordeaux blend. It's very dry and very tannic, and high alcohol gives it a not unpleasant heat that lifts the blackberries and cherries into roasted fruit territory. You'll find additional notes of dark chocolate, licorice and pepper. Could develop over the long haul.
